SCOPE AND CONTENTS
Supplemented by index cards that constitute a register of complaints for the years 1973-1977; miscellaneous complaint files for 1973-1976; and complaint and investigation reports for unlicensed health care facilities.
Files prior to 1976 were created under the Health Department's Hospital Services Division.
ARRANGEMENT
Arranged alphabetically by facility name within each year or span of years. Files were assigned chronological case numbers, but apparently were not kept in chronological order.

Access is restricted to Minn. Stat. 144.A54, subd. 3, which preserves confidentiality of resident records, permitting release only with the resident's written approval. Researchers may apply to use these files. Please consult library staff for more information.
