SCOPE AND CONTENTS
Included with the minutes are occasional letters and reports received, newspaper clippings, superintendents' reports, and maps of the grounds. Two volumes and 2 folders (1863-1907) contain minutes relating to all three institutions (a "B" in the margin indicates matters relating exclusively to the School for the Blind), while a third volume and 1 folder contain excerpts from the minutes in the first two volumes relating to the School for the Feeble-Minded from its establishment (1879) until it passed under the direct supervision of the Board of Control in 1901. Occasionally, especially for the first several years, there are entries in this volume that are not in the regular minutes of the Board of Trustees/Directors.
