OAK TERRACE NURSING HOME:

The board, which consisted of the Minnesota Department of Public Welfare's (DPW) commissioner and deputy commissioner, the DPW's assistant commissioner of the mental health bureau and its medical director, the residential facilities division director, and the OTNH's chief executive officer/administrator (CEO), managed the property, funds and business of the OTNH, including delegation of responsibility for its management, control and operation to the CEO and appointment and reappointment of physicians.

The minutes and agenda packets cover such topics as staff organization, financial and population statistics and data, operation of the OTNH's various departments, policies and standards, goals and objectives, professional organizations memberships, medical staff appointments, and relations with the Minnesota Department of Health and the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Hospitals.
