SCOPE AND CONTENTS
Topics of the memoranda, circulars, and related files (1940-1943, bulk 1942-1943) include camp regulations such as mail handling, fire protection, guard duty, and camp sanitation. Official memoranda from Washington, D.C. concern court martial procedures. There is an incomplete set of the camp newsletter, Muzzle Blast (1943). The files were originally compiled by Lieutenant Colonel Harold W. Schaub.
The building specifications and blueprints (1930-1931) cover the Camp Ripley state arsenal, the magazine, other camp buildings, firing ranges, and the heating, water, and related utility systems. They were created under the direction of construction quartermaster P. C. Bettenburg, architect and engineer, and drawn by W. G. Wells. There is some duplication among the several individual rolls of blueprints.
