SCOPE AND CONTENTS
The death registers give death date, full name of deceased, gender, color, marital status, age, place of birth, cause of death, and names and birthplaces of parents. They also (until circa 1887) include date of arrival in Minnesota, and (after 1906) give date of birth and place of last residence.

The death record entries are in register form, usually one line covering two pages. Each entry includes the date of death, full name of deceased, sex, color, marital status, age (in years, months and days), place of birth, date of arrival in Minnesota (until ca. 1887), cause of death, names and birthplaces of parents, and when registered. Beginning with volume C (1907) the date of birth, place of last residence, and the names of undertaker and physician are included. | |||||||||||
