The 6 West Boys Ranch was a non-profit corporation which provided a group home/school, located in Montevideo, for delinquent and troubled boys between the ages of 12 and 18. The boys were residents of the five counties which make up Region 6W in west central Minnesota (Big Stone, Chippewa, Lac qui Parle, Swift and Yellow Medicine). The corporation was officially dissolved in 1989.</p></scopecontent>
