            <head id="a3">SCOPE AND CONTENTS</head>
            <p><emph render="italic">Foresite</emph> (October 1980-January 1987) was a monthly
                newsletter addressing all of the board's integrated waste management programs.</p>
            <p><emph render="italic">Update</emph> (January 1983-September 1988; incomplete) was published weekly for board members and staff and compiled monthly for distribution to the state's
                county solid waste officers. Mainly a compilation of photocopied news releases and clippings.</p>
            <p>The <emph render="italic">Solid Waste Network</emph> (1985-1988; incomplete) was published monthly as part of the board's solid waste management activities.</p>
            <p><emph render="italic">Outlook</emph> (1987) was an informal newsletter to inform on the progress of the state's program to find a voluntary location for a waste stabilization
                and containment facility.</p>
