            <head id="a3">SCOPE AND CONTENTS</head>
            <p>There are hearings, reports, and planning documents on attempts to select a treatment and disposal site for hazardous wastes in the state; county
                and local solid and hazardous waste plans; state solid waste management policy reports; files on grants to local governments for solid waste
                reduction and processing; information on the board's organization, membership, and operation; minutes and background materials for board meetings;
                the board's procedures manual (largely a compilation of relevant state laws and regulations); information on waste management legislation and on
                solid and hazardous waste treatment and storage in general; files on the board's technical assistance program to help Minnesota companies manage
                their hazardous wastes; newspaper clippings; and miscellaneous public issuances.</p>
            <p>Also included are minutes of the board's citizens' advisory groups: the Hazardous Waste Management Planning Council and the Solid Waste Management
                Advisory Council.</p>
