Includes administrative files, correspondence, employees, internal publications, maps, and notebooks. Many of the files are attributed to Walter "Buck" Lee Holter, a District Forester and Ranger who worked at Tower Office from the 1920s to the 1970s, and may be his working and reference papers.

Typed manuscript by artist Frances Cranmer Greenman titled No Time to Start a Portrait (1974). The manuscript is about Charles Bolles Rogers, or "Bolles," an art collector based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. A typed reminiscence (1970s) by Nancy Rogers Pierson, granddaughter to Bolles Rogers, is also included.

Records of the movement of home residents, noting for each day the total number present and absent, and names of residents admitted, discharged, on leave or returned, or died, and related data (1932-1988). Supplemented by records of leaves and absences, which contain similar but less comprehensive information (1899-1908, 1929-1936).
