Northwestern Drug Company was a locally owned and operated wholesale drug company in the Twin Cities and was connected with over 800 retail druggists of the Twin Cities area as of 1929. By 1988 it was the seventh largest privately held company in Minnesota.

Northwestern Drug Company was located at 26 Hennepin Avenue, Minneapolis for many years until it purchased the S&M building at the corner of Arthur Street and NE Kennedy Street in 1962 and moved its headquarters there the following year. F. Dohmen Company, Germantown, Wisconsin, purchased Northwestern Drug in 1992.
