| Abstract: | Two film reels of footage of Amador Township, Minnesota and surrounding area including Almelund an unincorporated community within the township. Filming by Carl Almquist, a farmer who brought his camera everywhere to document life in the community. Views include but are not limited to threshing, fishing, men driving farm equipment and cars, carnival festivities, winter scenes of skating and ice harvesting, a military funeral, and a burning building. The third reel contains cartoon material from multiple sources that was originally segments in between Amador footage but has since been physically separated. | |
