Topics include Vietnam, community involvement, urban and rural issues, Minneapolis neighborhood issues, agriculture, musical and dance performances, poetry, women's issues, sports, disabled persons, politics and government, education, energy, drug use and education, labor, housing, civil rights, and journalism. The accompanying Catalogue to videotape library compiled by University Community Video, Inc. (predecessor of Intermedia Arts Minnesota) is a listing of their collection as it was in 1982, it does not include all that is in the current collection and includes items that were not donated with the collection.

University Community Video was organized in 1973, a nonprofit corporation under the University of Minnesota. It provided equipment, training and broadcasting opportunities for students interested in telecommunications and documentary video production. The corporation later separated from the University and shifted its emphasis to support interdisciplinary and experimental video arts. In 1987 it changed its name to Intermedia Arts Minnesota.

Summary: In early February of 1977, a broad-based group of Minnesota citizens held their own investigation into alleged improper activities of the local office of the Federal Bureau of Investigation. Testimony by individuals centered on the alleged harrassment of Native Americans in South Dakota, FBI infiltration in a number of local political and labor organizations, and the Bureau's involvement in the death of Black Panther leader Fred Hampton. The program summarized the findings and recommendations of the four days of hearings.
