Game Components

- 6 Unicorn Tokens (each in a different color)
- 120 Color Cards (30 of each color)
- 120 Number Cards (30 of each number)

Setting Up the Game
To set up Rainbow Unicorns, follow these steps:
- Place the game board in the center of the table.
- Shuffle the Color Cards and Number Cards separately, then stack them face down near the board to form two draw piles.
- Deal 5 Color Cards and 5 Number Cards to each player.
- Choose a player to go first and give them the Rainbow Die.
Gameplay: The Rainbow Trail
The objective of Rainbow Unicorns is to be the first player to reach the end of the Rainbow Trail on the game board. Here's how to move your unicorn:
Color Cards
Play a Color Card matching the color of the space your unicorn is on to move forward one space. If you can't play a matching card, you must draw a Color Card from the draw pile.
Number Cards
Play a Number Card matching the number on the space your unicorn is on to move forward that many spaces. If you can't play a matching card, you must draw a Number Card from the draw pile.
The Rainbow Die
On your turn, roll the Rainbow Die and move your unicorn forward the corresponding number of spaces. If you land on a space with a Color or Number Card requirement, you must play a matching card from your hand to stay on that space.
Special Spaces on the Rainbow Trail
The Rainbow Trail is filled with magical spaces that offer unique advantages:
Rainbow Bridge
If you land on a Rainbow Bridge, you can choose to move your unicorn forward two spaces instead of one. However, you must discard a Color or Number Card to do so.
Unicorn Magic
Landing on a Unicorn Magic space allows you to look at the top three cards of either the Color or Number draw pile and put them back in any order.
The End of the Rainbow
Reaching the end of the Rainbow Trail is the ultimate goal! The first player to land exactly on the final space wins the game and is crowned the ultimate Rainbow Unicorn champion!
Winning the Game
In addition to reaching the end of the Rainbow Trail, you can also win Rainbow Unicorns by being the first player to get rid of all your Color and Number Cards. This is known as a "Colorful Victory" or a "Numerical Victory," respectively.
