Your privacy is important to us. Moolah ("we," "our," or "us") is an AI-powered personal finance assistant that helps users analyze bank statements, track spending, and uncover savings opportunities. This Privacy Policy explains how your data is handled when using the Moolah app (the "Service").
Moolah is designed to minimize data collection. We do not collect any personal information such as name, email, phone number, or account credentials.
The only data processed is the financial statement files explicitly uploaded by you, selected for AI analysis.
When you select a financial statement to analyze:
Any data you upload is processed securely and discarded immediately after use. We do not share any of your data with any third party.
Moolah uses the Google Gemini API as a third-party AI processor. Data is transmitted from our Google Cloud Run function to Google Gemini and processed solely to generate AI insights.
Google Gemini does not retain your data beyond processing, and our Cloud Run function does not persist any files.
Google does not retain your data beyond the processing request, as stated in their Privacy Policy.
By using Moolah, you consent to this limited processing by Google Gemini and Google Cloud Run.
We take the security of your information seriously:
All data transmissions between your device and the AI service are encrypted using industry-standard protocols.
No financial statements or AI outputs are stored on Moolah servers or in the cloud.
You choose which files to upload.
No personal data is required to use the app.
You can delete your app and all local data at any time; Moolah retains nothing.
Moolah is not intended for children under 18 years old. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the Service or legal requirements. The latest version will always be available in the app. Continued use of Moolah indicates acceptance of any changes.
