Hey guys, been in the market now for a few months. I've debated on getting a RAV4 Prime vs. regular Hybrid.

If going with a Prime I would be doing the rebate+lease buyout for a new one. There's one about an hour from me on the lot (2024) that I may try to get. My work commute is about 24 miles.

The Rav4 Prime has more electric horsepower than some full EVs, including the base model Ioniq 5. So if the R4P doesn't offer full one-pedal driving, that must be a design choice by Toyota. This is sort of a car engineering question wrapped into a RAV 4 comparison question.
