Reading Eggs helped my son learn to read, as did Starfall. Starfall is extremely reasonable, and a nonprofit. ABC Mouse is owned by a Scientologist, so I avoid that, as I don't really want my money supporting a cult.
The paid part of Starfall is a real disappointment after the free part. I like the letter sections, and the colors are good. But most of the rest is a dud.
