However, unlike Undertale, it's not possible to eliminate all monsters from a specific area in a single room - once you exhaust the kill counter of 5 monsters for Dark Ruins and Snowdin, or 3 monsters in Dunes or Steamworks in a particular room, the encounter balloon appears, then shifts to a red X, and the encounter does not occur. You could encounter different enemies in ut by going further in the zone (like getting a loox in the further rooms of the ruins), but in uty, only certain monsters can spawn in a room. This category contains all the locations seen in Undertale Yellow. The Ruins is the first location seen in Undertale Yellow, as well as in original Undertale.

Clover finds themself there after falling down Mt. Ebott before the beginning of the game, and it is where they meet Toriel. It shares the first five rooms with its Undertale counterpart, and then Clover enters.
