Bmw App Add Secondary User

Your friends or family can add the same BMW with Operating System 8 from July 2022 or newer to their own My BMW App. In the BMW ID menu, select 'Manage BMW IDs' for an overview of all available users connected to the BMW vehicle. Hi All, Just picked up my iX M60 and love it! If I want to setup a second profile for my wife, does she have to create a BMW ID and install the app, or can the account be created local to the car? In my prior car (Audi eTron GT), I could setup a local user that she would use to store her settings, so I wasn't sure if the same is true for the iX. Thanks!
