I found this wonderful site that sells and ships kitchenware from Japan and wanted to share! The vast majority of the products are made in Japan, but they all show country of origin on the product page. Here's the conclusion: Globalkitchen Japan specializes in high-quality Japanese kitchenware, including chef knives, cookware, and tableware. The website offers a curated selection of essential kitchen tools favored by chefs, ensuring customers can find reliable and authentic products.
Find high-quality brand items e.g. Japanese chef knives, Santoku knives, sharpeners, cookware, kitchenware and tableware. Worldwide shipping with safe and reliable delivery.
Enjoy shopping with Globalkitchen Japan! It never sold successfully in Japan, and rarely makes it's way to an enthusiast knife shop anywhere--but it was the first Japanese knife to make it in a market dominated by heavier softer European metal. Global created an opening for Shun, who opened the floodgates to the enthusiast Japanese knives we all enjoy.
Globalkitchenjapan website reviews, Tojiro F-312, Tojiro F-332 opinions and possibly reviews On my previous post I've asked about about a very cheap 20-40$ knife, and came to a realization that the Tojiro F-312 sells for a mere 39$ shipped (with a discount of some sort) from there. Now, the website in question is named in the title of the post. Here you can see all of our customers' reviews.

Mainly asking about Global due to the higher quality of steel processing and also different types of steel compared to the knives I use. I've gotten to try out two global knives to see how they feel,I've read about people's complaints about the handle but that's it. Was considering buying a Santoku or a general use knife from Global.
Curious if anyone has a recommendation for a good Japanese kitchenware website. I have a local Asian grocery store with a bit of everything, but I couldn't find a tamagoyaki pan or a few other times. My habit is to just order off Amazon, but I figured if there's a good online specialty store for cookware, dinnerware, sakeware or anything else, it might be better to give them my money instead.
Global knives look iconic and are backed up by what seems to be premium prices. My husband likes them but my question is - are they actually good knives? Is the UKON range better than the classics? Would i be better off going for a generic Japanese knife and sharpen it well instead? Side note - we're good cooks and know how to handle knives. We'd like to invest in a few nicer ones, so are.
