Placing a bed in Minecraft is one of the first essential tasks for any player looking to survive and thrive in the Overworld. Without a bed, you are vulnerable to nightly zombie sieges and you lose the ability to set your spawn point, forcing you to trek back to your base every time you die. Gathering the Required Materials

You cannot craft a bed without the correct resources, so the first step is always resource gathering. You will need three pieces of Wool and three Wooden Planks.
