Part 1. Differentiated Example Features
Account Management
- Tracking a users' account, devices, apps, services, and associated financial transactions
-
Via the Cloud Server, Example enables a user to create an account through which the user is able to manage their network of cameras. This includes:
- Adding and removing cameras.
- Classifying cameras.
- Describing cameras.
- Enabling applications to have access to cameras and data, as well as updating application's access to data and cameras.
The user can then enable Apps to access cameras, and data that is generated by the camera or cloud processes. The user is able to determine whether:
- An App can connect with a specific camera or subset of cameras
- An App may access a specific data field or type of data or not.
The user can also define limitations that may be imposed upon Apps as to what they can and cannot do with the users data.
- Example protects the end User from rogue applications by blocking Apps that behave in a rogue manner from accessing the Users Account or the Users cameras.
- The Example Ecosystem enables parties to be paid for participation in the Example Ecosystem by monitoring API calls made to the Example services and charging those making the API calls for usage of the API.
