Mowing wet grass might seem tempting during a light rain, but it can lead to uneven cuts, clogged mowers, and increased safety risks—so is it ever okay to mow when the grass is damp?

While mowing wet grass isn’t impossible, it’s generally discouraged. Wet blades catch more moisture, increasing the risk of clogging, uneven trimming, and slippery mower handling.
