Tkc 70 Bmw Gs

I drove 1500 miles with the new TKC 70's and I want to share my experiences with them. Because it's more off road (60% on road and 40% off road) than the trial attacks (20% off road)I expected a different kind of riding experience. The first 200 miles, in my opinion, I got the feeling that I drove a different bike.

The TKC 70 is designed for light to medium off. I had both TKC-70 and -80 front & rear on my 2015 R1200GS. I liked the TKC-70.

The front tire developed cupping/scalloping, which was even all around, and I never felt it while riding. On pavement I ride at a brisk pace and good lean, and felt confident with the tires till their end. Hi everyone! Looking for some real-world advice on Continental TKC 70 tires for the BMW R 1200 GS.

Billed as a 60/40, our Rocks tire was mounted to a BMW R1200 GS and paired with a TKC70 front. With a slight bias to road performance, the TKC70 Rocks rear was awesome on the twisties, quiet on the highway, and confidence-inspiring on wet roads. It's far quieter than the TKC80, though it does deliver an annoying hum around 40 mph.

Anybody hate the TKC's? I've researched and dialing in on Continental TKC70's, I looked at the Metzler Tourance and Dunlop, Shinko, Pirelli. Here in Oregon, I need good with wet, curves, fire roads and length of life.
