Download Service and Warranty books for your BMW, and find out if your vehicle is covered by a pre. New BMW warranty coverage lasts for up to four years or 50,000 miles, but you can enjoy longer. The Warranty is not affected by change of ownership of the Vehicle during the Warranty period.

This BMW Service and Warranty Information Statement should be presented to your BMW center when maintenance is required. Your BMW center will stamp this book documenting the services or maintenance performed.

If the vehicle is not maintained or is improperly maintained, this could result in serious damage to the vehicle. Such damage is not covered by the BMW New Vehicle Limited Warranty. Refer to chapter engine oil change regarding recommended service intervals for oil changes.

This is why it is important to follow and perform BMW's recommended periodic vehicle inspections and maintenance service tasks as indicated by your vehicle's Maintenance Service Display, along with the other maintenance work described in this booklet. New, authorized BMW Motorcycles come with a 3 year or 36,000 mile limited new vehicle warranty, whichever comes first.
