Everyone 屬於不定代名詞，雖然意思上代表很多人，但文法上仍視為單數。

因此必須搭配單數動詞，例如 Everyone is welcome.

當 V-ing 動名詞片語 作主詞時，通常視為單數主詞。

例如 Reading books is a good habit. 此時動詞需使用單數形式。

Either...or 採用最近原則（Proximity Rule）。

動詞必須與最接近的主詞保持一致。例如 Either the manager or the employees are responsible.

應該觀察後方真正主詞的單複數。

There is a problem. 使用單數動詞；There are several problems. 則使用複數動詞。

雖然後面接的是複數名詞，但真正主詞是 each。

因此必須搭配單數動詞，例如 Each of the students is responsible.

在 TOEIC 與一般英文文法中，team、committee、staff、family 等集合名詞通常視為單數。

因此多數情況會搭配單數動詞，例如 The team is preparing for the competition.

Along with、together with、as well as 都不會改變主詞的單複數。

動詞仍然依照真正主詞決定，例如 The manager, along with his assistants, is attending the meeting.
