Meals and dining Amtrak offers a variety of meals and dining options to fit your travel style. about your dining choices, onboard dining reservations, and the different types of dining cars. Food served on Amtrak trains may contain or have come in contact with: milk, eggs, wheat, soy, shellfish, peanuts, tree nuts, fish and/or sesame.

Traditional Dining service is offered on the Auto Train, California Zephyr, Coast Starlight, Empire Builder, Floridian, Silver Meteor, Southwest Chief, Sunset Limited and Texas Eagle (between San Antonio and Los Angeles). Cafe service is also available to all customers along these routes, offering a variety of meals, snacks and beverages for sale.
