Wolverine Comic Colors

Wolverine kept this look throughout the 1970s and wore a slightly modified version again in the 1990s. This costume echoes the colors of the X-Men's original uniforms, and Logan embraced this look whenever he wanted to emphasize his relationship with the team. In Earth-666, Wolverine was an undead vampire and was wearing a black and red uniform similar in design to his classic brown and tan costume except for the colors.

Wolverine's classic look reverses the original uniform color scheme for the X-Men. This would be changed in Uncanny X-Men #275, in which Logan finally wore a uniform with the rest of the team. Wolverine's showy yellow-and-blue costume wouldn't exactly fit this sort of work, so Wolverine went with much darker colors that would let him blend in with the shadows: black and grey.

In the comics, Team X was comprised of Wolverine, Sabretooth, Maverick, Silver Fox, and a handful of others. This team also appears in X-Men Origins: Wolverine with a modified lineup.

14) When Cyclops and Wolverine restarted X-Force, the team all adopted secondary uniforms, decked out in gray and black for stealth missions. Logan's suit was a monochrome version of his standard costume, with red.
