Marble Tile Bathroom Floor Reddit

Do any of you actually like your marble bathroom floor? We bought sheets of 2" marble hex tile for a bathroom remodel but since then it seems everything I read, especially re using it in bathrooms, comes back to "you'll regret it" or the person currently regretting it due to staining. Does anyone love theirs? Here are my honest thoughts about my marble tile floor and shower after years of daily use.

This is not marble tile. It's terrazzo, which if real, is basically cement. Follow manufacturer instructions for care & cleaning, and ignore any advice about actual marble regarding it.

What are your thoughts on marble floors? I am planing on redoing my foyer and want to go with a checkerboard pattern (gray and white), however, its not a big space, so I thought the max tile size should be 12x12. Unfortunately, i can't seem to find a nice porcelain faux marble that looks good and is 12x12, so I an debating whether or not do marble. We went with marble mosaic on the bathroom floor and used a black porcelain 2x2 tile for the shower floor, using nice 1.25" thick marble slab for the curb top.
