Bmw Goes Into Park By Itself While Driving

Has anyone else come across this issue? Were you able to rectify the problem? You're right-your engine won't explode if you put your car in park while you're driving! Actually, in an automatic car not much will happen. You'll probably hear a clicking noise while the parking mechanism attempts to slide into gear, but your car usually won't enter park until your vehicle stops moving.

I drive a 2012 BMW X3 F25 (2.0d) automatic. Very frequently, when I come to a halt, the shifter jumps to parking mode. If I disable the Start/Stop system, the problem seems to disappear.
I got many ideas from various service centers, ranging from replacing a solenoid to the entire Transmission. Does anyone have an idea?
