Exactly 50 years later to the day, the company now known as BMW M GmbH presented two exclusive edition models: the BMW M 50 Jahre Edition as a BMW M3 Sedan or BMW M4 Coupé. The 2023 BMW M3 Competition xDrive Sedan starts at $80,800. With the 50 Jahre special edition badging and a few other packages, the one we tested came to $101,195.
An M Performance exhaust system and carbon fiber rear spoiler further distinguish the 50 Jahre Edition. The M340i xDrive 50 Jahre Edition is offered in a single equipment profile - no additional options available - at an MSRP of $75,200 plus $1,175 destination and handling.
