ColoringSpirit From religious trauma to radiant freedom, Meg shares her journey of being born into an Amish family (into a world without color) and ultimately choosing a vibrant, free life on her own terms. This keynote is for anyone reclaiming their story, identity, and voice after surviving toxic religion, family dysfunction, or spiritual abuse. As I come back to my art this winter, after a season of intense advocacy and documentary work, including "Sins of the Amish" and an interview with "Cults of Consciousness," I find myself stepping back into the practices of personal healing.
There's a crucial balance between pouring out and replenishing, between advocating for others and nurturing my own spirit. You're becoming whole again, one honest conversation, one ugly cry, one restoration at a time.
