Have you checked out IKEA? Their cabinets are pretty decent quality, especially for the price. Plus, they come in a bunch of colors, so you can match your wood floors and walls no problem. Looking for the best value on kitchen cabinets We're buying a house and the kitchen needs a total overhaul.

Originally I was leaning towards IKEA and/or Semi Handmade, but the more I looked thru this sub, the less sold I was. Has anyone had them for 5+ years, or found solid wood for a decent price elsewhere? I think they technically work with the trade so you'll need to find an installer, but they put together a pretty reasonable cabinet plan for us with high quality semi.

We will be buying some new kitchen cabinets as part of a remodel soon. Seems like all of the stuff at home depot and lowes are built using MDF or particle board, which I think I'd like to avoid. Question is, what to buy? There are some sites online that sell ready-to-assemble cabinets and fully assembled cabinets.

Also, I found through costco they partnered with a cabinet maker in florida. I got an entire kitchen (cabinets, appliances, and quartz counters with a big-ass 9x4 island), bathroom (cabinets and counters), and more Billy bookcases than I can count for 15K, installed. I did my own backsplashes.

These guys probably have the best customization options I've seen, nice interactive site and prices are very reasonable for the quality you get. Cliq Studios (an online cabinet seller) sells RTA and pre-assembled cabinets with plywood boxes, dovetail drawers, nice hinges. We were very happy with the quality.

I replaced all of our kitchen cabinets with IKEA Sektion cabinets almost three years ago and we have been very happy with them. IMO the most important consideration is making sure your rails are as level as humanly possible, then the cabinets simply hang from the rails.
