This much has been clear since the brand unveiled the GR GT3 concept all the way back in January of 2022, but the brand still has. The Toyota GT-One (model code TS020) is a racing car initially developed for Group GT1 rules, but later adapted into an LMGTP car. It raced in the 1998 and 1999 24 Hours of Le Mans.

The all-new "TOYOTA GT Concept" and the "TOYOTA GT Racing Concept," currently being developed for entry into the FIA GT3 category, debuts at The GOODWOOD #FOS! Legendary championship racing machines and iconic cars will charge up the approximately 1.9-mile Hillclimb course. Keep an eye out for these two specially camouflaged models! At the 2025 Goodwood Festival of Speed, Toyota showcased a pair of camouflaged front.

Toyota is working on a hybrid sports car, possibly to be sold wearing a Lexus badge. This wasn't a static display, either; Toyota actually ran a roadcar version of the GR GT right up the hill at Goodwood followed closely by a GT3 race car version. At the 2022 Tokyo motor show, Toyota revealed the Gazoo Racing GT3 Concept, a dedicated racer designed to be sold to teams for the sports car.
