Edge build up involves applying durable materials to the perimeter of countertops, shielding them from everyday impacts and moisture damage. Common materials include epoxy resin, laminate composites, and ceramic tiles, each offering unique benefits. Epoxy resin provides a seamless, stain-resistant finish ideal for high-traffic areas, while laminate offers cost-effective durability with customizable colors. Ceramic tile edge strips deliver a sophisticated, waterproof barrier that enhances both form and function.
