Understanding Wedding Cake Options in Sims 4
Before we start, it's essential to understand that there are two primary ways to acquire wedding cakes in Sims 4. You can either use the base game objects or explore the vast world of custom content (CC) and mods. Each has its pros and cons, so let's break them down.
- Base Game Objects: These are readily available in the game and require no additional downloads. However, the selection is limited, and the designs may not be as elaborate as those found in custom content.
- Custom Content (CC) and Mods: Custom content and mods offer a wide range of unique and intricate wedding cakes. They can significantly enhance your game's aesthetics, but they may require additional skills like using the Sims 4 Studio or finding reliable sources for downloads.
Finding Wedding Cakes in the Base Game
If you prefer to stick with the base game objects, you can find wedding cakes in the 'Cake' section of the 'Decor' tab in Build Mode. Here's a quick rundown of the available options:
| Cake Name | Price |
|---|---|
| Wedding Cake | §150 |
| Fancy Wedding Cake | §250 |
| Gourmet Wedding Cake | §350 |
While these cakes may not be as elaborate as custom content options, they still offer a touch of elegance for your Sims' special day.
