Is Animal Print Tacky

The tackiest thing? Socks with sandals, crocs, cargo shorts, sloppy sweatpants, chunky gold chains, fanny packs, backwards baseball caps There are far tackier things than a bit of animal print. leopard print is ugly and tacky just my honest opinion. had to let it out since i and more of it lately.

not sure why but it's been becoming a trend again. I refuse to put my daughter in an animal prints because it's trashy as heck. And while we are ranting on this- putting a diapered girl in leggings where the butt isn't covered by a dress or long shirt makes her look like a little hoe.

I have similar connotations as you about them being kind of cheap or tacky looking, but would add one other angle to it. While I'm 100% against the use of real fur/exotic hides, I think part of the cheapness animal prints comes from taking something that in its natural state exists on fur and copy. Animal prints and fur can add texture, color and elevate a look.

On the flip side it can also make you look cheap, overdone and tacky. Ladies of LSA how do you feel about these two fashion classics? How much is too much? What animal print is the best? Which is the worst? Can you mix and match. Leopard print is the most ugly thing in the world to wear I thought this was a universal opinion.

Apparently, it is not, as evidenced by two friends female friends of mine who care about fashion, trying to decide what clothing to buy in leopard print because she really wants something of the sort. Does anybody else think leopard print clothing looks ridiculous and is also wondering if this trend will end soon? Animal prints esp leopard spots are so out of touch with modern clothing. Its Wall Street 80s trashy in my book.
