# OneAgent for VS Code pre-release terms

Effective date: 2026-08-11

The `0.5.x` release is an invited pre-release for evaluation and bounded pilot
use. It may contain defects and may change before stable release.

Users are responsible for reviewing agent actions, selecting an appropriate
approval mode, maintaining source control and backups, and complying with
their organization's policies. `Full access` permits the agent to use the
internet and local files without ordinary approval prompts. `Workspace` permits
normal work inside the selected workspace and requests approval at trust
boundaries.

Users may not attempt to bypass tenant isolation, access another tenant's
credentials or data, interfere with the service, or redistribute the software
outside an authorized organization.

OneAgent may suspend preview access to protect users, tenants, or the service.
The OneAgent Software License and any signed customer agreement also apply.
