Just wondered if anyone had suggestions for a colour scheme (even better if you have pictures) that doesn't involve white? All the schemes I've seen seem to be mainly white with accent colours like green, red and blue. 7th edition dark elf armybook has some army standard bearer designs for the cities (pg 75), those should be reasonably representative of the cities colour schemes. But, while I think the bright colors of the high elves, I see in the past that there are some really dark times. I was thinking of doing a themed army based around those times, and subdue and darken the army to fit into those time lines.
