Loved it. So there are five emotions shown in the movie that control our head. They stay in our head and give actions or reactions on events of our lives.

Joy Fear Anger Disgust Sadness All those characters contain a special color. Joy is yellow, Fear purple, Anger red, Disgust. Disgust is a character in Inside Out and Inside Out 2.

She is the green Emotion and one of the five Emotions inside the mind of Riley, along with Joy, Fear, Anger, and Sadness. Mindy Kaling describes her as follows: "Disgust is very protective of Riley. She has high expectations for everyone around her and isn't very patient.

Here, we will look into the creative choices behind the colors of each new Emotion in 'Inside Out 2' and what they signify. One of my favorite Disney movies so far is Pixar's newest production, "Inside Out." The movie was very interesting in how it explained the way we perceive emotions, thoughts and memories in our brains. What I found interesting in the film was the way they used color to show emotions, both inside Riley's head and in her own life.

The first thing to note about the film is that there are five. A journey through the meaning of colors and their representation based on the characters of the animated film Inside Out 2 by Pixar. Inside Out 2 production designer Jason Deamer has opened up about the look and color of the movie's new emotions, explaining how they reflect their purpose in the film.

The upcoming sequel to Pixar's 2015 film sees Riley growing into a teenager, resulting in a variety of new, negative emotions appearing in her brain. New Colors in Inside Out 2: A Breakdown Inside Out 2 introduces us to five new emotions, each with its unique color and personality. These new emotions are Joy's sister, Bing Bong, who is a blue emotion; Riley's imaginary friend, Imagination, who is a purple emotion; and three new emotions that are part of the "Riley's emotions" team: Disgust's sister, Dina, who is a green emotion.

Green and red provide cues telling us about imminent danger or possible benefits which could aid in survival. These associations even permeate into the way we use language, such as being caught " red handed" or when we "see red" (Moller, Elliot, & Maier 2009). Perhaps the animators felt this way about colors too, resulting in the appropriate color combinations we know: yellow for Joy.
