When a player draws a Property card, they have the option to buy it. If they choose not to, the card is placed back in the draw pile, and the next player can draw it on their turn. If a player wants to buy a Property card, they must pay the cost listed on the card.

Mortgaging Properties

If you can't afford to buy a Property card or need to raise money quickly, you can mortgage one of your properties. To do this, simply place the Property card face down in front of you. You'll receive half of the property's cost in cash, rounded down.

For example, if you mortgage a property worth $200, you'll receive $100. To unmortgage a property, you'll need to pay back the full cost plus a 10% fee. So, to unmortgage the same $200 property, you'd need to pay $220.

Selling Properties

If you need to raise money quickly or want to get rid of a low-value property, you can sell it to another player. To do this, simply offer the property to another player and agree on a price. The player can accept the offer, decline it, or make a counteroffer.

If the other player accepts your offer, they'll take the property, and you'll receive the agreed-upon amount of money. If they decline or make a counteroffer, you can choose to accept it, decline it, or make a new offer.

Winning the Game

Bankruptcy

If a player can't pay their rent or other debts and doesn't have enough money to cover them, they're declared bankrupt. The player must return any remaining Property cards to the draw pile and is out of the game. The last remaining player is declared the winner.

Monopolist

The other way to win Monopoly Cards is by becoming the ultimate property tycoon. To do this, you must own all the Property cards of a single color or type. Once you've achieved this, you're declared the Monopolist and win the game.
