This Privacy Policy explains what information the Optify app (“Optify,” “we,” “us”) collects, how we use and share it, and the choices you have. By using Optify you agree to the practices described here.
When you tap an editing tool, the following data is sent to third-party AI services on your behalf so the requested edit can be performed:

No account identifiers, contact information, location, device identifiers, or payment information is sent to these AI providers.
Who receives the data, and what they do with it:
We have verified that each provider above contractually protects your data to at least the same standard described in this policy. By tapping an editing tool, you grant us permission to transmit your image and prompt to whichever of these services we route the job to. You can withdraw consent at any time by signing out or deleting your account.
Some Optify features work on photos that contain a face — for example Headshots, Hair Studio, Try-On, Face Restore, and the Persona / Magic styles. This section explains exactly how we handle that face data.
What we collect. The photo(s) you choose to upload for a face-related edit. A face may appear in these images. We process the image only to perform the edit you asked for.
How we use it. Face data is used solely to generate the edited image you requested (e.g. a new hairstyle, a headshot, an outfit try-on). We do not use face data to identify or recognize you, we do not create a facial-recognition template, faceprint, or biometric identifier, and we do not use it to build a profile, for advertising, or for any purpose other than producing your requested edit.
Sharing. To perform the edit, the image is sent to the third-party AI services listed in Section 3 (OpenAI, Black Forest Labs, Replicate, FAL). Each of these providers is contractually required to protect the data to at least the same standard set out in this policy, does not use it to train their models (except Replicate’s brief operational retention noted below), and does not use it to identify you. We do not share face data with any other party.
Retention. Input and output images are stored temporarily on Google Cloud Storage (typically up to 30 days) and then automatically deleted. The AI providers retain the image only briefly to return the result. We do not keep any long-term facial template or biometric record.
Deletion and withdrawing consent. You give consent before your first edit via an in-app notice, and you can decline. You can withdraw consent at any time by not using face-related features, by signing out, or by deleting your account in Settings — which removes all associated images and data within 30 days. To request deletion of any face data or ask a question, email optify@getsnippet.co and we will delete it promptly.
We use the following third-party services to run the app. These do not receive the contents of your edited images:
You have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, and to withdraw consent for data processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at optify@getsnippet.co.
Optify is not intended for use by children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Uploaded images and processed results are retained temporarily (typically up to 30 days) and then automatically deleted. When you delete your account, all associated data is removed within 30 days.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app or via email. The “Last updated” date at the top indicates the most recent revision.
