COVP protocol effective for feline lymphoma
Our study evaluated the use of COVP protocol (Cyclophosphamide, Vincristine, Prednisolone, and Vinblastine) for treating large-cell lymphoma in cats.

In conclusion, this study describes the outcome of a group of cats with large-cell lymphoma receiving the COVP protocol . The findings suggest that COVP treatment is safe and effective , offering an alternative treatment for cats with large-cell lymphoma .

Animals Medical records of 41 cats with large‐cell lymphoma treated with the modified COVP protocol at one veterinary referral institution. Methods Retrospective case series study.
Cats were included if they had a confirmed diagnosis of intermediate- to large-cell lymphoma and had received either a CMOP or CHOP protocol as a first-line treatment. Statistical analysis was conducted to determine if PFI or ST differed significantly between treatment groups.

Animals: Medical records of 41 cats with large-cell lymphoma treated with the modified COVP protocol at one veterinary referral institution. Methods: Retrospective case series study. All relevant clinical data were retrospectively collected.
Cats with lymphoma treated with COVP seem to achieve acceptable survival and response rates compared to traditional chemotherapy protocols . ABSTRACT Background The standard chemotherapy treatment for large‐cell lymphoma in cats is CHOP (cyclophosphamide, doxorubicin, vincristine, and prednisolone) or COP (cyclophosphamide, vincristine, and prednisolone) chemotherapy protocols . Substituting ...
Comparison of outcomes in feline intermediate
The outcomes observed in this study are consistent with previously reported results for cats with intermediate- to large-cell lymphoma treated using multi-agent chemotherapy protocols . 21, 28 A recent study describing CMOP treatment reported better outcomes, likely as a result of the exclusion of early protocol failures. 11 Our study explicitly ...

Recent changes in the presentation of feline lymphoma make selecting and delivering potentially efficacious treatment that meets the needs of the individual patient challenging. In almost all cases, feline lymphoma is a systemic disease that needs to be treated systemically. With the exception of a subset of GI lymphomas , a multidrug protocol that includes at least doxorubicin and l ...
