ZooLex Exhibit
The aviary houses the world's largest group of Red-Blue-and-Green Macaws found in a zoo facility and other bird species from South America. Luscious plantings and a naturalistic design offer the visitor the opportunity to observe the birds' natural behavior.
Here at the Zoo , we have a variety of what we refer to as mixed species aviaries, which allow us all to observe how these different species interact with one another. Each species varies in size, diet, behavior, and even what their habitat would be like out in the wild.

Ensure that the aviary is also wide and long enough to support your species' needs. Minimum recommended sizes are available for most aviary bird species, and these should always be considered- mixed species aviaries will require these minimums to be increased significantly.
