N20 coolant pump woes My F30 has thrown the CD9010 code "Coolant pump missing" ever since the turbo was replaced. I've replaced the connector to the pump that was looking very sorry for itself (with some exposed wiring) but that didn't help. I have a F10 N20 engine with 80k miles. All original parts. The car displayed Engine Temp high warning, and I lost power.
In 5 seconds later, however the power came back and the message disappered. I scanned the car thru ISTA and I got these codes. 123431.
I will just replace hers with a spare that I have for my n54.Side note, looks like BMW changed the water pump on the n55 from the n54 one to a different mfg/pn in 2012. So this plan probably wont work. Pulled codes, only code is CD9010 LIN lost communication with water pump.

The OBD fault number is U019F, the BMW number is CD9010. The coolant has been replaced with a Pierburg new pump (fault was present before coolant pump was replaced). When the coolant pump is unplugged the LIN bus has about a 1 volt.
