Color 03 is based off of old anime coloring as well. SSJ/Blue Goku - kid Goku gi. SSJ and blue Goku 3 uses the more red colors from the older colors in the anime.
Frieza - chilled colors Kid buu - Uub (GT) Ginyu - frog he swapped with Nappa - first appearance in anime Base/SSJ/Blue Vegeta - arlia (first appearance in anime) Dbs Broly. BM, that's not a bad theory on why the colors would look different, but that wouldn't account for Vegeta and Nappa's misadventures on Arlia. It used the same color scheme as well.
The first few episodes of the anime that depicted Vegeta were animated prior to his first colored appearance within the manga, and Toriyama had yet to give Toei Animation the color schemes for either him or Nappa. The irony is that the Vegeta planet arlia collectibles are quite popular and either hard to find or expensive. I thought this frame from the Arlia episode was cool, but I thought it would be better in Vegeta's canon color scheme.
Took me all day,hope y'all like it! Arlia (アーリア星, Āria-sei) is an anime-only planet in the North Area that is home to the Arlians. The planet is mostly covered in ruins of old and crumbling buildings, aside from the palace, and the atmosphere was dark and unpleasant looking and has two moons in its sky. Aside from the residential Arlians, there are also giant caterpillar.

Also referred to as "Arlia Vegeta" and/or "Original Animation Colors Vegeta". At times, I wish this would have been Vegeta's colors in the anime. While his White and Blue armor/outfit separates him from Raditz and Nappa, even more would have been the contrast if used the Arlia colors.
