31 votes, 33 comments. We got an ANTILOP high chair from IKEA after hearing everyone rave about how great they are, you don't need to spend more. I've read (or seen on Instagram solid starts) that your high chair should have a footrest, which the ikea one doesn't.
You can order one from other places to fit the ikea chair. For the first 12 months, I would just buy the ikea + adjusted footrest and see how everything goes. Highly recommend to see high chairs in person, go to a store, check out your friend's.
It looks like a high school wood shop assignment where that one kid tried to get creative with it even those they were suppose to follow build plans and end up with something that actually looked like chair. Are the $20 high chairs worth the hype? Are they really that easy to clean? I've heard people say you need to get a foot rest for them, anyone know where to get that footrest?
