Tire Pressure Bmw 330e

330e Tyre pressure help! My 330e is saying the recommended Tyre pressure is 46psi. Everywhere I look, it reccomends between 32-36 with some topping out at 40. I had to get a Tyre replaced as I noticed a huge gash on the wheel, which I think has to do with it previously being pumped to 46psi by the previous owner and splitting from pressure.

A 330e is about 450 pounds heavier than a 330i. So, for the same tires as a 330i, it'd need more tire pressure. The weight distribution of RWD-based BMWs is about 50/50.
