September 5, 2024 -This is one of those character designs where changing it means you have to change the design of the whole film. The entire movie of Tangled takes place in a colorful forest withvivid, saturated greens. Rapunzel’s colors -blonde hair and a light purple dress- reflect the colors of the Corona emblem - yellow sun on a royal purple background - which was a deliberate move to tie her to the kingdom, visually.
