Cool Bratz was the debut line of Bratz dolls released May 21, 2001 by MGA Entertainment. The doll line introduced the 4 main core Bratz characters Cloe, Jade, Sasha and Yasmin. The first edition was also released by TOMY in Japan.

Cool Bratz was only the title used in Japan and not the original title of this collection. This listing is for a First Edition Cool Bratz Jade doll from 2001. She is in preowned condition. Her hair is a little bit messy, as she has been played with.

She comes with the outfit and accessories she is wearing in the photos, which includes olive green satin pants, a red sparkly top, a silver backpack and red and pink athletic shoes. Commercial for the 1st line of Bratz Dolls released in 2001. Jade, known as Kool Kat by her friends, is one of the four original core Bratz characters introduced in the Cool Bratz line.

Like the rest of the core girls, Jade was designed by Carter Bryant, inspired by a group of teenagers leaving Kickapoo High School in Springfield, Missouri. Carter's original description of Jade was that she was an Asian girl skinnier than her friends who enjoyed playing. CoooolTV is a stop-motion series consisting of two-minute episodes featuring the Bratz. Not much information is available about this series, but the premise of the series was about the Bratz girls' adventures in Japan. CoooolTV was part of a major promotional campaign for the arrival of the Bratz brand in Japan and is known for being the first Bratz television series.
