Eren No Color

There is an expression in Japanese "the color of their eyes changed" and from what I understand it means that a person has had a change in one's feelings, similar to saying that they have a different look in their eyes. Anime seems to take that literally and in scenes such as when characters are displaying anger or renewed vigor, their eye color changes. In the case of Eren, it seems to change.
